Privacy Policy — Tab Rest (by Pinekit)

Tab Rest does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.

• What stays on your device: your on/off setting, idle-time threshold,

and a count of suspended tabs (Chrome local storage). Nothing leaves the browser.

• What we can see: nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no remote servers.
• Tab data: the extension reads tab metadata (title/URL are not stored;

only idle time is used) to decide which tabs to suspend. This never leaves your device.

• Optional MellowTel supporter mode: off by default. If you explicitly opt in

via the popup, MellowTel's SDK shares a small amount of your unused internet

bandwidth with vetted partners. Per MellowTel's documentation, it collects no

personal data — no browsing history, cookies, or passwords. You can opt out at

any time from the extension popup or MellowTel's settings page, which stops all

sharing immediately and removes the extra permissions.

Contact: see the Chrome Web Store listing support link.
